Callin New York all kinds of dickriders and what not but y'all quick to forget this is RAPmusic.com and Rap Music started right here in the Bronx. Y'all do somethin we started but we let y'all do y'all thing but soon as NY do somethin y'all started we "dickriders" all of a sudden.

The funny shit is, the most influential nigga to ever throw up that west coast sign was born and raised right here in new york city.

This was a great example simply because there's more rappers in cali than there are bloods and crips in nyc so apparently our influence on y'all was greater than y'all influence on us.

Actually....thats not true. Because though it probably is true that there are more rappers here then crips/bloods there, the influence of them being there is probably greater then rappers being here. Well....depending on how you look at it. Sure, there are alot, ALOT of rappers out in cali. But I think the effect that crips and bloods have on NYC is a whole lot bigger. Cause think about it....there maybe alot of rappers here and that might be a big industry, but I think the impact of crips and bloods robbing and killing might be just as great. I guess it all really depends on how you look at it. Thats just my two cents though.

Blood/Crip influence on new york is no where near as high as Hip Hop's influence on the West

First off Y'all "borrowed" hip hop from us YEARS before New York started that blood and crip shit

Secondly, when New York created hip hop, it had an impact on every kinda nigga in cali from the black gangbangers in LA(snoop/mc eiht/dj quik) to the eses (cypress hill) to the bay (too short/e40/yukmouth) to whiteboys (most dudes online reppin "the yay").

That blood and crip shit in New York only had an impact on herb ass niggaz who got tired of gettin bitched so they decided to form a group of herb ass niggaz so that even tho they are still herb ass niggaz, when one of them get's bitched it's one for all and all for one.

Real and Fake, Hard and Bitch, Black and white (and hispanic and asian for that matter) niggaz on the west coast was influenced by hip hop and take pride in it. Real NY niggaz are ashamed of these niggaz here gangbangin.

No L.A. cat HATES on NY for anything, especially for gangbanging....because hating=being jealous, and looking down means something totally different. Comparing us rapping and y'all gangbanging is a TERRIBLE argument anyway. Music is music, and if it is good, it's going to influence people from outside a certain neighborhood, city, state, region, or country to do the same, so it's no reason in saying that we "borrowed" rap or whatever else.

If you are against gangbanging, then it's no point of making this thread, because that means that both of us are on the same page, right?

I could care less about you saying we hate, I could care less about anybody from L.A. who actually does hate, and I could care less if anybody in NY hates. Do what you do, and leave it alone. If anything, L.A. has been on NY's dick for the last few years, rap wise and fashion wise. It's cats in L.A. who will diss L.A. rappers for not bein at NY's level, and most of our fashion trends since 2000 are somehow related to NY. That's somethin you wouldn't know unless you were in L.A. though.

I did pick a bad choice of words. I didnt mean hate on as far as being jealous, i did mean "look down on." And none of us have any probs wit any area of the world doin somethin we started especially hip hop. When snoop dre and cube were hot back in the day we was bumpin that shit too. People on the internet hate regardless...L.A. hates on the east, south, midwest, and the Bay...the Bay hates on anything that's not the Bay...the East hates on the south all the time and talks about how wack the west is...the south talks about how dope they are and how they run it and how the east fell off and the west fell off harder....etc. etc. etc.

You can't take the topics on the internet but so serious. I was postin at a Bay area board for a while, and all I saw was cats talkin about how wack L.A. is, how we hate on them, how we're jealous, how we ride their dicks, how we didn't give them shine in the 90's, and how hyphy is gonna blow up bigger than everything in L.A. And I know that doesn't represent the majority of cats in the Bay, but just the ones who are losers up there and they have to use the net to make themselves look good. When people from CA say anything about the fakes in NY...we are only talkin about the fakes, not the entire state. But the thing is, most people I meet from NY and Jersey who are my age and under (21) seem to try and validate the existence of these gangs. I go to school in Florida, and there are a grip of people from NY + Jerz...some of them know little and care less about the crips and bloods there...but there are a lot who either have family or neighborhood friends who are part the bangin, and a few of them claim to bang. It's a few of em I didn't wanna put on blast just because they might try to prove themselves and do somethin to me, but it was obvious that they didn't have any clue about bangin.
