But as far as bay rappers & LA rappers, there a lotta different styles in each area so u can't really just compare em like that. Bay has everything from hyphee shit (federation, team, dope game, etc) to the underground shit (heiro, zion i, gift of gab, etc) and the LA cats have all sorts of different shit that i don't even know about cuz i ain't from there. I don't think one area is better than the other as far as lyrics they both got heat comin out.
The Bay Area scene is wayyy better than LAs right now, the bay is killin it.

Come on man, we gotta grow up from that shit. I realize most Bay people feel LA hates on them and is biased, and I've stated that as bein bullshit many of times. But for you to say all that there is just ignorant, period. I shouldn't even be respondin to it.

First of all, he didn't ask SHIT about street cred, who was better, who was fake, etc. etc., all he asked how are they different. I realize that you love the Bay, but even with that, your opinion is beyond biased and you probably don't even know it.

I definitely have NOTHIN against the Bay, and I bump a lot of their shit and have been since 95. Growin up in LA, all my homeboys played Bay shit, not as much as LA shit of course but still a lot. We never cared about who came from the Bay in general, because if it was hot, we fucked with it.

So in all, I hope you can get over that shit. And I hope everybody else in The Bay who feels like that can too. I also hope the people in LA who hate on the Bay for whatever reasons they do can get over it.

I think the Bay sets more trends, and their music right now is a lot more original than what most LA rappers are doin right now. Their club music is dope as fuck.
