Bishop Lamont to release The Reformation on Aftermath and appearing on Detox

Last March, we announced that the new west coast rising star, Bishop Lamont, would be signing to Aftermath. Well since then, Bishop was approached with other offers from various labels, and although the Aftermath deal was still on the table, he chose to weigh out his options and go with the best one. Finally after a bidding war, Dr. Dre approached Bishop with an offer he couldn't refuse. It's official, Bishop Lamont is now an Aftermath artist!

The plan is to drop The Reformation album on the label, and Bishop will also be appearing on Dr. Dre's 3rd solo album, Detox.

Yeah it's good to hear that it finally went down. Hopefully I can get a track or two with him when I get back to LA in August. I haven't talked to him in about a month though, but I know he's performed a few times with G. Malone and Mykestro.

Anywhere between 2006 and 2098

Nah but I'd really estimate anything between 2006, probably late 06, and mid 07.
