bringin back the west coast

I saw the add on the top of my screen that said "Young Lyfe, bringin back the west coast" and it made me think. Seems like everyone says that nowadays. first game talked about it and then the media gave other artists like snoop and dr. dre a back seat to game, advertising him as the best of the west. I didn't even know snoop and dre fell off, i thought they were still doin there thing, but that's what it looks like in the media. now everyone claims that they're the 1 to bring back the west coast. sounds like crap to me, but what do you guys think about all this? did the west fall off? who will bring it back? do we even care if it becomes the main thing, as long as we still have it?
