Everybody got different opinions. Im, 18 I live on the East, but i lived in Cali for 17 years. I grew up on listening to Pac, Dre, Snoop DPG, Westide Connection and a little Oakland Shit but not much my cousins up north grew up on E-40, Too Short, and other rappers from the Bay. We both bang our hoods and from what i hear, the Bay is just like LA. They kill, deal, just like us. But i also believe that LA (my hood) is the heart of the Westcoast. Not just rap but overall.

What do the rest of yall think.

but the culture is sort of different.... in LA, fools out there are more into bangin while in the Bay, folks focus more on hustlin

Yeah, I'ma have to agree with you on this one, cuz. Because I'm from The S.C., but I think that Watts Is really the heart of Cali If you ask me.A lot of n!ggas ain't even up on shit that go down In Watts, a lot of crazy, shiesty, shit, just like It Is here In South Central. And yeah, the yay Is mo' Into pimpin&hustlin, then bangin.But don't get It twisted though, they Bay bang too.But Southen Cali(LA, Watts, Inglewood, Pomona, Gardena, Long Beach, and so on, and so on)are basically mo' Into bangin, because that's all It really Is down here. I grew up on 52nd&Hoover, so I know.

Yeah I grew up on 52nd,that was th 80's though. First of all cuz, you a youngin, I'm 29 years old. So you weren't even born, or don't remeber when the 52nd st Hoover Gangsta Crips was runnin shit around here, that was before you was even born. Second of all, I don't claim shit I ain't have a goddamn thang to do wit. I never banged,and It ain't because I'ma female, but I had homies,my older brothers,cousins&uncles who was bangin, half of em dead or In Folsom or Chino.And I grew up In the 80's, so everybody who I knew from the set who was bangin then are either, dead, locked up, or layed low somewhere else, I knew everybody from that area, you were still In diaper's, so you don't know shit.
