a lot of cats hate on rap-a-lot and say they're the reason a lot of stars don't get enough self promotion and whatnot.. but do you really believe that they are a hazard to sign too?

and what exactly is rap-a-lot looking for anyways? my friend seems to believe that they're only interested in guys who can relate to a hood/street type life, but i think he's just being a stereotype about it..

what you think?
