Hmm...funny that it's the biggest thing the Bay has had in a long time, but half the people in the Bay hate (on) it.

Please believe that if it doesn't sound hyphy, or at least have a club feel to it, it's not gonna catch much ears outside of the Bay or the west, period.

hyphy is high-energy music. The Federation for instance had a dope album (mainly cuz Rick Rock's beats SLAP HARD) but also because they had catchy hooks and the overall sound of their music is appealing. the shit out now they're calling hyphy is trash (such as mistah FAB) that dude is just garbage. the "thizzing" music is like the bastard child of this hyphy movement, its really corny and these homos are just takin mac dre's steez and tryna get rich off it.
but motha fuckas always actin like every rap song gotta be on some "super lyrical" shit. sometimes motha fuckas just want somethin that slaps. u cant be all serious n shit all the time. hyphy is cool my opinion, just gotta have the right rappers representin it.
