When I turned it off, still getting e-mail notifications.
You unselected in your Preferences section of your profile?
Ofc, I aint stupid.
Unchecked everything in alerts now.
Was still getting e-mails.
perhaps @EnzoTen @L u c y @Plekz
You shouldn't anymore.
Will see later today.
Nah, isn't working, still getting e-mails.
Well it looks like you are 'watching' those threads. Go into those threads in the first post and selected unwatch thread right above the first post. Let me know if it says you aren't watching it and if it doesn't work
Did it, writes Im not watching it anymore and now what, I have to do this for every thread I post in?
no, the standard, i believe, is for the user to manually select the watch thread button. I believe those threads were watched before you unselected the e-mail thing in your preferences.
@EnzoTen @Plekz - Should the not receiving e-mails function in the preference override the watched function? or is it one of those things that if you are watching a thread then unselect the e-mail function, you'll still get the e-mails until you unwatch.
Lol, instead of making the site better, they make it a fuck up.
Give it time brah...there are always bugs in the beginning
They had 24h to do it all, this will take them months to fix.
Im posting on some other forum that also changed similar to this layout, been 2 months and they still didnt fix some things.
They are definitely working on some things as we speak. I'm going to ask about the edit thing tho. That is lame
You opened it today, I unchecked every alerts and every e-mail notification, and watching threads and I still get e-mail.
Well let's hope you don't forget your password because I just dropped the m off .com on your email. Temp solution til the issue is fixed so you can go on with your life.
