Post everything related that you can find.
i have to begin physiotherapy for my shoulder, i dislocated it really badly and managed to stretch all the cartilage in my shoulder, once i start i'll post all the stuff i'll be doing
How did you dislocate it and how many times before this?
i dislocated it once many years ago but apparently i have above average flexibility in my joints so when i dislocated it all the cartilage stretched and almost got torn, if my joints wernt as flexible it wouldn't have been that bad
You dislocated it years ago and didnt exercise it after?
it happened during a football game, the team physio put it back in, it never bothered me again
Lol, mine popped out during football too, but it was 3rd time and I couldnt put it back in.
Doc said my connections are weak and I need to exercise it, have to go back to him in 2 months and we will see if I need surgery.
i went for an mri scan earlier today, they couldn't make those things anymore uncomfortable and claustrophobic
And what did they say?
I did x-ray three times and ultrasound once.
lol it's even worse than they first thought, my arm dislocates from the back so it grinds against my collarbone so my shoulder and collarbone are slowly but surely grinding away
might need an entire shoulder reconstruction lol
Damn, so gonna need operation?
yeah gonna have to, but after my trip to europe, which the dr isn't pleased about, but i'm not missing out on a trip to europe to fix my arm haha
Damn, how long recovery gonna take, at least 6 months?
i've decided to go with keyhole surgery which is a lot better than a shoulder recon
my arm will be in a sling for 6-8 weeks, then i'm not allowed to use my arm excessively, so in other words no weights or sports, for another month after that
It is really sad to hear that. Anyway i think you should take a massage of your shoulder. And also cover it to keep warm it. With that you can do any cardio. But be careful don't put any weight and also don't do any game till there is no pain of any kind.
There is no pain after a month, then just gotta be careful so it doesnt pop out again.
Fuck, need to do mri.
damn, what did the doctor say about your shoulder?
i'm not sure if your procedure will be the same, but after my first mri scan a dr injected my shoulder with blue dye and then i had more mri scans to compare between the two. most uncomfortable experience i've ever had
He said that its good, but my external rotation of shoulder is not, so I have to do mri to see if Ill need surgery or not.
He said if some bones or something are close together that it wont need surgery, I think.
