I keep arguing with myself over who's better. Í went to youtube.com and watched highlights of both players but still I can't decide.

One of those questions that most people will answer too biased.

Of course I'd say Kobe...Wade has proven a lot early in his career, but Kobe's still accomplished more...even though Kobe has been in the league a lot longer. Kobe's definitely a better all-around player...better defense, better jumpshot and three, has hit more clutch shots, etc. etc.

And you can't compare highlights period...even though Kobe's shit on Wade's, highlights don't mean much. JR Smith's highlights are also better than D Wade's.

Kobe has accomplished more? What exactly has he done, Wade has won more impressive runs and he's way more responible for his team winning a title then Kobe has ever been.

pretty much. i used to say kobe during the season. but after seeing what wade did in the playoffs and the finals, there's no question that it's wade.

There is really no sense in picking--- whatever answer one gives will only amount to their subjective preference; there is no argument that can lead to a conclusive answer.

They are all what I would consider superstars, of which there are only a total of about 10 in the league...

but the media has ridden kobe for awhile. Calling him the next MJ talking about his place in history with his young age...

Wade came into the league with no hype unlike kobe. He made his name through his play, not so for Kobe.

This is how I see it though......
96-97 - Kobe came into the league...media saw him as being an idiot for making the move.....an exact quote from a scout from the Celtics - "He is making an incredible mistake. Kevin Garnett was the best player I ever saw play in HS...and Kobe is no Kevin Garnett"
97-98 - Media saw his potential, started comparing him to Jordan because of his style
2000-2002 - Compared him to Jordan a lot because he won three titles, and because they needed someone to crown as Jordan because Jordan brings major money in
2002-2003 BEFORE THE RAPE - Media started saying he would be almost as good, as good, or even better than Jordan.
2002-2003 - Started saying Lebron would become one of the best players in NBA history before he even touched a ball
2003 - Kobe got hit with the rape charge.....and everything negative about him came to light and was multiplied
2003-2004 - Kobe started getting all negative press...while Lebron got major praise for his play and living up to the hype....and they compared him n Carmello's "rivalry" to Magic and Bird...because they wanted a new rivalry.......and Dwayne Wade was another good player to come from the draft who you heard mentioned every once in a while
2004 - D Wade took his team to the playoffs and showed the potential he had
2005 - Kobe started to win the media back, but it would still not be at the same level
2005 - D Wade made a lot more noise than Carmello, while Lebron started to shine
2006 - Kobe proved a whole lot by taking a very average squad to the playoffs, and hitting numerous crazy shots...and was a MVP candidate
2006 - D Wade won the championship and MVP......and all of a sudden, you hear 100,000 comparisons to Jordan....while Lebron still received similar comparisons
2006 - Overall...media still says Kobe is the best player, but that Dwayne Wade has proven more at his age and experience...and that Lebron will most likely become a better player than both of them

So with that......D Wade definitely had to work his way to gettin praise...and since he got there, the media is definitely ridin his dick pretty damn nice.

As some of us said earlier....this argument is very very very subjective...you can say D Wade is better because of finals MVP....but then you can say that doesn't mean everything because Chauncey Billups also won Finals MVP.....and you can show that overall, Kobe has still won a lot more awards, broken a lot more records, and done a lot more in his career....but then you can say that after three years in the NBA, Dwayne did a lot more than Kobe......but then you can say that Kobe was three years younger than Dwayne when he came in, and when he was Dwayne's age, he had 2-3 championships and made the all star team 5 times.............................. ..etc etc etc etc etc etc etfc etmfgdc..................
