Mosley TKOs Vargas in the rematch
From Boxingscene.


Round 6 - Mosley hitting Vargas with the right hands and jabbing away. Left hook by Vargas. Vargas now starting to become the counter puncher. Mosley just blasting Vargas down with a left hook and Vargas is badly hurt. Vargas barely beats the count. Mosley jumps on him with combos and Vargas is in serious trouble. The ref jumps in and the fight is over. Mosley with a huge 6th round TKO.

Round 5 - Mosley jabbing and lands a four punch combo. Vargas with a right. Right hands keeping landing for Mosley. They right of Vargas is swelling and appears to be bleeding. They flurry at the end of the round as Mosley's hand speed is working Vargas over. Another round for Mosley.

Round 4 - Mosley is beating Vargas to the punch with hard right hands. Mosley keeping his distance and working a jab. Vargas with a right hand. A huge right hand by Mosley at the end of the round. Another round for Mosley.

Round 3 - Mosley with a combo, good right hands for Mosley. Vargas comes back with a left. Mosley to the body. A Mosley chant begins. Mosley doubling and tripling the jab. Mosley hitting with good body shots. Another round for Mosley.

Round 2 - Mosley jabbing. Vargas to the body. A lot of clinching. Vargas with a bodyshot. They exchange punches at close range. Crowd is booing all of the holding. Vargas with a good right and a bodyshot that causes Mosley to stumble. Mosley jabbing. Mosley with a bodyshot. Mosley just jabbing Vargas down and making him miss. A close round for Mosley.

Round 1 - They begin feeling eachother out with jabs. Vargas chant begins. Mosley with a combo to the body. Good right hand by Vargas. Jab by Mosley. Mosley goes to the body. They fight in close and exchange body shots. Vargas looks very slow, the added weight may be hurting him. Mosley with a combo. Round scored for Mosley.

but the undercard was sick too that daniel ponce deleon knocked that thai guy out and put him to sleep unlike any ko i ever seen the dude was motionaless and sleeping basically face first on his stomach.

the juan diaz vs randy suico some filipino was pretty good...that filipino dude has a tough jaw...but i dont think the ref should of stopped it....that randy suico guy should of fought tall he was fighting in close and not hold in the clinch...his defense is piss poor if a guy with power hit him he would be out fast.

Yeah, DeLeon is raw power. He sucks as an all around fighter, anyone with movement will frustrate him, but his power is ridiculous. I've been feelin this cat since his "Solo Boxeo" days. He KOd Sod like it was nothing. Him & Sod fought before & Sod was able to take everything DeLeon threw at him. I seriously thought it was gonna be close like that first fight.

Suico is good, but he didn't need to be in that ring. He hasn't done enough to warrant a title shot, but I think he was last minute replacement for Dr. Evil (correct me if i'm wrong). He put up a valiant effort though, but I think even he knew Diaz was gonna win.

I'll have the video by tomorrow, but i'll see if I can get it before then. So, for now, I give you a GIF of the stunning left that ended Vargas's career:

I'm impressed by Shane, but let's remember this isn't the same Vargas who gave Oscar and Tito the fights of their lives. As far as Shane against Floyd is concerned, I'm sure Shane would present problems to Mayweather, but I still think that Mayweather will outpoint Mosley and win by a unanimous decision. Let us not forget that with the exception of Vargas, Mosley has lost his last 5 big time fights (I'm counting De La Hoya/Mosley II as a win for Oscar).
