Here's what's gonna happen next season in the NBA

3. Iverson will fail as a Boston Celtic.

4. The Nuggets will have issues in the locker room.

5. KG will demand a trade from Minnesota, possibly to the Lakers or Knicks.

Here's what's NOT going to happen next season in the NBA: The lakers making the finals. They'll be another one round and done team at best.

Being realistic, I see us as a solid 2nd round team...and depending on who we face, we could be a 1st round or third round team. I odn't think we're strong enough at this time to make and win the finals....but if we had been able to hold on against the Suns, I definitely feel we would have beat the Clippers, and we would have been in the third round right there.

I'd say....

1. The Bulls will have a good run, and will probably be a 2nd round team.

2. Miami will not win the championship, and Shaq will play like a C+ level center, although he still might start in the All Star game.

3. The media will try to go from a Lebron vs. Melo rivalry, to a Lebron vs Wade rivalry, and they will be riding Wade's dick harder as the season starts since he won the championship.

4. The media will hype up Greg Oden as the next great center, and he will be a #1 or 2 draft pick.

5. The rookie of the year will not be anyone picked in the top three.

6. Kobe will not have any 81 point games, and will probably average less points than last year...but with the Lakers having a better overall record, and with him passin more as he did against Phoenix, he will be at least a top two MVP candidate....and with that....

7. Steve Nash will not win the MVP, even with Amare back.

8. The Rockets may make the playoffs, but will not be anything major at all.

9. The Raptors are gonna be like damn....looks like we're in the lottery again.

10. If KG does stay with the Wolves, Chris Bosh will once again have a better season than him.

Nah....well I'd say this. Shaq's FG% the last two years have actually been his best or near best since coming into the NBA. But overall, skillwise, Shaq just doesn't have it anywhere near the way he used to, even though he doesn't "have to" try as hard. And I'm not even sayin it because of the 5 point game he had.

I saw some plays this year that just made me get up and yell, "Shaq is done!" "Shaq is on his way out!" and that was just me bein a typical Laker fan....but even being serious, he was letting things happen that even a average B- level Center wouldn't let happen. For example, they'd throw it to him, and he'd fumble it...or he'd try to do a spin move, and he'd lose control of it. And of course it has to do with his age and weight being on him for so long, it's only expected.

But lookin at it all....the main reason he's seen as a top 3 center right now is because the center game in the NBA is horrible right now. 10-12 years ago, he'd be #5 or 6 playing like this. But there's no real competition at center.
