TJ for swapped for Charlie V

What do you all think?

Positive trade for both sides in the long run, although Charlie's potential is much higher than TJ's is... that's my take.

We needed a PG badly.. now we have one

We needed to remove the glut of PFs we had.. no we have

But this move means that Bargnani better live up to his potential.

one of those trade that can work out for both teams, like the wilcox/radmonovic trade earlier

all tj ford does is attack the basket, hata!

ppl forget how good he was his first yr.

Know charlie V had a great yr as a rookie but from watching him in college hes not a player id like to build my team around but he fits in nicely with what the bucks are tring to do.

I dont see a problem at all with this trade for either team.

word..the bucks arent looking to build around him, they just needed another solid big man...He should fit in nicely with Magloire, Bogut, Gadzuric, and Smith..

I like the Bucks chances next year. That European guy they drafted last year was also starting to come around in the NBDL also and could be ready to contribute this upcoming season..

i like both teams, but i'm not sold on barganni so i'm worried about loosing charlie v.

i wish we would have taken, the guard frm ucon.

charlie is under rated

if u watched him in uconn u would know the game he played in college was more suited to the nba (the 3 pt shooting, quick, bigman) but he had to switch it up to succeed in college

i think this guy will be an all star in the coming years

cvill's potential is gonna help the bucks a lot in the frontcourt, and the raptors have a pass first pg whos is pretty good, trade helps both teams, but i wouldnt of traded cvill cuz hes a baller, but thats all they had to offer

charlie was suppose to be a far better player than he showed in college.. He was nowhere near great at U conn and alot of ppl including jim calhoun felt he didnt have the mental makeup to be a great player and that he didnt try his hardest. I think last yr alot of his big time perfomances were because he wanted to prove people wrong and with this trade he'll have even more motivation.

Im still not sold on his game but he defintely could prove me and alot of other people wrong.

What's that maxim... you don't trade big for small.

Andrea better pan out for them, as in, be considerbly better then CVill.

What happens when you give somene with talent, the motivation they didn't have, they make you pay.

It's kind of funny, but Cvill will probably be a better player for the Bucks then he would ever have been with T-dot.

Now he has a chip on both shoulders.

Both teams dealt from a position of strength to help address a position of weakness. It's not a given that Charlie has better upside, because if we're using impact on a team as our criteria... TJ had a better rookie season than Charlie did..

I too think Charlie, at this point, has better pro potential... but we'll see if that is still the perception of the majority when Charlie is 23 and in his third full NBA season.

I think it was a good trade for the Raptors only if you believe that Bargnani can become a star or semi-star in the NBA.
