Moments ago Ricky Hatton's American promoter Artie Pelullo informed Boxingtalk.com that the WBA welterweight champion will likely return to HBO on December 9 to face mandatory challenger Oktay Urkal at an undisclosed location in the United States. Pelullo also informed Boxingtalk that Team Mayweather recently "reached out" to him to discuss a possible Mayweather-Hatton bout, but according to Pelullo, "I have said to Al Haymon that we have a mandatory due with Oktay Urkal and that is what we intend to go forward with." I was hearing rumors like last week that Hatton was gonna vacate that belt so he wouldnt have to face that unknown gump.


Then the very second that Floyd asks to fight Hatton again they wanna keep the belt and continue to fight unknown dudes.
