^lmfao im a laker fan but i dont see any of those happening....cuz peja most likely is going back to the pacers and garnett says hes happy there and lebron smh....

all the lakers need is a better point guard and they'll be out the 1st round next season develop kwame and mihm a little more and there cool if lamar can play next season the way he played at the end of this season and in the playoffs were a top 5 seed in the west.... Smush is a damn choke artist they series shouldnt of went 7 games if we would of got ONE Rebound

im not toooo upset the lakers lost, the better team DID win.

kobe stole game 4, thomas stole game 6. evens out. no grudges, no hard feelings.

in the off season, lakers might get toni kukoc cuz phil loves veterans.. especially ones that already know the triangle offense. i hope we also get bobby jackson or somethin. hearin rumors kareem rush might sign with us again. i duno man. we need to get athletic players who can run and gun and dunk.. like antonio daniels, like speedy claxton. we arent athletic at all if u think about it. we need at least 2 veterans coming off the bench who can knock down shots and play quality defense

some realistic targets for the lakers are: mike james, jason terry and bobby jackson. peja is going to test the free agent market, so the lakers have a shot there too, but it's not a lock like some would like to assume. mike james would be a nice addition, though he's not the tradtional pg that phil likes.

Yeah true but we need the most help at pg...mike james or any of them yall named would be good(terry bobby speedy etc) all can hit shots unlike smush under pressure situations.....i wonder what they gonna do wit mckie and jimmy jackson.....rush would be a good addition to the lakers again he can shoot the ball thats what we need. the lakers have a decent squad wit kobe n odom as the buliding parts kwame played well and mihm is a decent center.....next year we should be good.....

The Spurs orginization is really top notch, especially when it comes to foreign players, and defensive guys.

Raja Bell was a San Antonio guy before he got referred to Larry Brown when he coached the 76ers.

The Spurs had the rights to Leandro Barbosa.

The Spurs would have drafted Nocioni but they thought he was ineligible after a scout gave them the wrong information about his birth.

They also really wanted to draft Josh Howard back in 2003, but Dallas nabbed him first, and look at him now.

With that said...

They Spurs basically have a veteran group with a few young guys. Only Horry is in his twilight, but with his game, he could play to 40.

What we need is more youth and athleticism at the wings. Ginobili is approaching 30 and Bruce is and Timmy are going to decline in a couple years.

I'm not sure how good Melvin Sanders is, but he's supposedly being groomed to be Bowen's replacement.

Damn.. I'm still shaking my head at not having been able to draft Howard.

He's a perfect fit for the Spurs, a versatile offensive threat, with length and athleticism that can play defense.

At PG the Spurs are golden with Parker and Udrih, and Van Exel. Good mix of youth and experience with varying types of offense.

At the 4 Tim is there, but we have some bigs developing in Euro leage, Oberto is a heady guy and Horry is well... Horry.

It's the 2-3 that we need an infusion.

Bowen is good for a defensive specialist.. Manu is great for intangibles and style of play.. but they're both a little long in the tooth, especially with the beating Manu takes and all the basketball miles on him.

Barry and Finley are alright, but we only need 1 of them.

We need a stronger bigger 3 though, that can play without the ball.

It was about how Tim Duncan and Ron Artest set the tones for their teams in game 6.

Real good spot light of both players, and I got a little more respect for Artest from reading it.

Cigma just want to let you know, what would Nocioni's age have anything to do with him being drafted? I don't think those things related A. because he was older than most rookies, and B. there wasn't the one year out of high school rule then.

Anyways I think the Bulls will get either Tyrus Thomas or Marcus Aldridge in the pick we got from the Knicks and either another forward or a big guard with the second pick. Another option would be to trade the picks along with Duhon to the Raptors for Chris Bosh. Then maybe Toronto can sign and trade James and one of their first round picks to NY for maybe Crawford and Frye or any other combination of their young players. That would put NY in a place to get a good big man. But that's a long shot. I think the Bulls aren't even interested in KG anymore because they really don't want to eat up their capspace because they have so many young players that they'd want to re-sign.

The rumors of them trying to get Stojakovic have died down especially cuz he's asking for a huge deal, and the Bulls have two players who are both better than Stojakovic IMO - Deng and Nocioni.

So the Bulls would be better off getting Marcus Aldridge or Tyrus Thomas.

But in other news I heard that Isiah Thomas is looking to trade Channing Frye, David Lee, Nate Robinson, and Qyntel Woods along with all the picks the Knicks have from now till 2010 for Adonal Foyle.

Should be a very interesting off-season, I was really thinking about the whole Chris Bosh scenario. That would be perfect for the Bulls, we'd be virtually unstoppable with a

C - Chandler
PF - Bosh
SF - Nocioni/Deng
SG - Gordon
PG - Hinrich
