All kidding aside..

Hopefully this summer can be a restorative one for T-Mac. He really is a talent and having a competitve Houston only improves the league.

During the latter half of the season, coupled with his physical injuries, he was having problems at home as well, reportedly.

Rumors of infidelity and whether his wifes newborn was his as well weighed heavily on his mind.

Even in the All-Star game you could see he had some sadness around him.


But the knowledge that he doesn't have to carry the load with Yao's emergence as a dominant force should take some pressure off him.

He's gone to bat for Yao Ming several times when people questioned Yao's toughness, and what from what I surmise they have a good relationship. Maybe some of Yao's good naturedness bouys T-Mac's spirits.

If the will is strong, the body will follow. Somehow he has to find a way to cast off the chains that have attached themselves to his mind.

It's similar to the 3 year period Paul Pierce went through, after his stabbing. His talent and skill were still there, but the joy had gone out of his game, and he became brooding and poisonous. But this season has been a rebirth for him.

Maybe next year T-Mac finds his way back.

i dont think san antoine or detroit will make the finals next year, too old, the rockets have a very good chance, if they get the right players,and tmac knows he wants to get out of the first round, corse he'll be nasty

i thought it was said mcgradys back is pretty permanent as far as some kind of pain goes? i thought i heard he wont ever be 100 percent again, not that he needs to be, but no, his team isnt going to be incredible next year, gonna see the same line up with him scoring most the points and them comming up short, i think they'll make the playoffs though and lose the first round, that will be my prediction for next year, like to be wrong though

lmao, yeah right, pistons and spurs are gonna be a powerhouse for years to come, they have all the money, not to mention pistons with some hopeful rookies improving, same lineup too, no ones going anywhere. they'll have the east locked for a long time to come, dont get your hopes up, old or not, teams win championships, not megastars. even if tmac comes back 100 percent his team is still gonna be mediocre as ever. Detroit is where all the money is, if they ever get rid of anyone in the next five years it'll be for someone just as great, i see them and the spurs being a powerhouse for still some years to come

but even with his back pain hes right behind kobe... and yao ming is coming out next year, the best center in the fuck league... and the rest of the team has built their chemestry... along with free-agency and draft day...

spurs n pistons are still gonna be a powerhouse, but i dont think theyll go to the finals next year, at least the pistons, even tho they have a very good shot, theyre gonna go downhill in a few seasons, prolly 3-4
