Milwaukee Bucks' Ray Allen better then KB8

This the argument I've been making for years and the discussion that should be taking serious. If you were to young to remember the 96-97 NBA draft you don't need to voice your opinion. I always like Ray even when he was a UCONN Huskie. When Allen Iverson as Georgetown did you notice something that Allen Iverson will ever admit to this day and George Thompson either? Ray Allen had mad defense when he was college and forced Iverson out of his game. Also Stephon Marbury should of stayed in college longer but did it for family reasons. When Ray Allen he was being slept on by the media because of Kobe's exploits. If you payd attention during the rookie campaign and even JR Rider would tell you the same Kobe wasn't getting any playing time. Iverson, Allen, and Marbury until his ankle injury were the big dogs of the draft. Iverson escaped Allen's shadow when he broke MJ's ankles and Kobe got lucky during Slam Dunk contest even Jason Richardson will say the same thing but Ray Allen gave it to him because he had his accolades. The real reason even with Kobe jersey eventually selling more later on, was Ray Allen didn't have any type of support cast but got the Buck's to the playoffs with ease. What did Kobe have? Let's see Shaq, Derek Fisher, Robert Horry, and he was matured by Eddie Jones but got him traded and Jones still today has better defense then Kobe. Now let's turn the tables and Kobe was a Charlotte Hornet would he still be the same or maybe got more playing time. It's not that I really hate Kobe but some people get their blessings and others get the losing end. The Bucks Ray Allen was more mature, stronger, faster, better passes, and dunks were nasty. It made me think with Kobe on top what wouldn't Allen finish his career on the east. The Wizards would be the perfect fit and they are coming together as a unit. Also this rivalry is something like OJ Simpson and Marcus Allen when they attending USC but that is for old school heads but I'm just trying to clarify the bigger picture.

I didn't say Kobe sucked but it's true Ray Allen would of been MVP worthy if hadn't been traded. Speaking of right Ray Allen better get traded because his potential is sinking with the Supersonics. Also that so called cast? Give me a break Ray Allen never had a big men and was forced into clutch time because his team losses the lead. Kobe does it so he can be compared to Jordan. I don't despise it but it's so arrogant. I guess it's true Kobe doesn't want a team he just wants to shit on niggas. Vince Carter same problem he is going through 4 niggas to do one dunk yes it's a statement but Vince is trying to drive like Darius Miles was during LA Clipper years and his motor is insane. Allen still had a supporting cast when they got to the eastern conference finals..Glen Robinson and Sam Cassell was a good supporting cast and helped immensley. Tim Thomas helped a lot in the playoffs. I remember he stepped it up when someone from the Big 3 dissapeared..Sure they missed a big man but the team also didn't play defense..Allen didn't get them to the eastern finals alone...

ray allen has no defense...he makes too much money and is too injury proned, he's a great no.2 option behind a big man but as a no.1 option on a team, he's not worth the money and that is clearly seen in milwaukee and seattle...the reason the bucks made the playoffs is because of sam cassel's clutch shooting, not ray allen or glen robinson...i have never seen ray allen make a game winning shot...ray allen is dope, the 3rd best player from that draft....

Back to the point for all yall west coast haters, VC is playing like Darius Miles because when he was Clipper he never put feet on breaks and kept on going. The only reason Darius Miles got sorry because of that contract deal he wasn't hungry anymore for playing basketball. Also Vince Carter plays with a mean streak now meaning he's gonna do shit Jordan will never try because Vince is on a rampage. Another thing Ray Allen isn't so washed up didn't anybody teach you about rainy days in Seattle? Well that's about it.

Robinson had worse D then Allen..Defense to Robinson was like a foreign concept..I remember for awhile Ray Allen was getting lit up like mad...Tim Thomas was crucial in the playoffs that year also, that's what got him a big contract..He even blasted Ray Allen about not being clutch and dissapearing..But yeah Robinson was just there to drop 22-25 a night and maybe pull down 7 boards...Scott Williams and Jason Caffey were important to the Bucks that year also...I think another factor was the vanishing of Lindsey Hunter, during the year he was putting up around 12 a game but come post season he was barely doing 3 a game..Everything worked out for the better though except loosing Cassell..
