I have the game on in the living room, and these guys just used "backdoor slider" like 5 times in a row. I had to laugh a bit.

Come to think of it baseball uses a lot of phrases that are flipped every day in regards to dating and sex.

Hitting (did you hit?) Cutter (did you cut?) Bases (what base did you get to)

Playing the field. Backdoor slider (lol..)

Striking out. Single, double.

Player. Diamond.

baseball commentors are the best for any sport.

listening to vin scully is just great and relaxing on a nice summer day. THe way he's able to paint a picture is truely extraordinary. Mets have some pretty good commentors i love howie rose.

baseball is the only sport i can listen to on the radio.

Vin Scully is THE most annoying announcer in any sport. He trumps Madden. It's horrible that he doesn't have a color-guy, he doesn't ever shut the fuck up. He talks about the dumbest shit imaginable.

It's like he interviews every player and releases all the stupid, irrelevant shit to the listeners.

I am not joking here...
He talked about how one players' mom worked @ the KFC in Tony Gwynn's hometown...
