I'm just finding out that he is also Autistic(sp). Sportscenter was just doing a story about that Autistic kid who had scored like 20 points in 4 minutes(a touching story) again. This girl that works with me was telling me that Skip suffers from the same thing. So I looked it up and sure enough it said that he is Autistic. The only NBA player in history with it.

Wow. I never knew that. I met him a handful of times through a mutual friend when he attended Fresno State and I didn't even suspect that. That's amazing that he's accomplished so much, and much more amazing that he did it with this handicap.

I saw that video of that HS player hitting them 3. That was incredible. Dude was just burying from all sorts of angles. I bet the coach is pissed he didn't use him sooner.

Hrm, I think it's kinda sad that Hollywood is going to try and make a movie about this.

It's an awesome story, and doesn't need to be sullied by the industry.

Plus how can you recreate the atmosphere of the crowd? From the videos I've seen the whole place was electric and estatic for the kid. Every time he made a basket they rejoiced like it was their brother with a disability who was scoring.
