a healthy yao could be good but he kinda slows them down, would it be sacrelidge to say they may be better without him?

yao attracts so much money to houston that it seems he will never be traded.

i do think trading yao for 2 or 3 decent, quick-footed big men would really enhance houston's offense and defense.

GREAT NEWS!!! It seems that since T-Mac came to town, each successive off-season has been more exciting than the last only to end in a letdown.

So, I vowed not to get my hopes up anymore.

All I can do is pray for the team to stay healthy.

Naw, they're right there in the mix of a very tight Western Conference.

Not only did they have to play without Yao Ming in this past postseason, but the two first games without Rafer Alston was a serious setback as well.

Had they started the series with him at the point, they may have actually advanced even without Yao.

And, the two series before that both went to 7 games with Yao not logging that many minutes and T-Mac left to try and carry most of the load with not much help elsewhere.

Most def, my admiration for Skip lou's game grew after he came back from missing the first two games. I wanted to know what he would look like in the post season after having such a successful reg season and he didnt disappoint, this definately shifts power in the West 4 real, it aint many better than TMac and the punch of Skip and Artest I think will be felt from the start, Yao just adds more fire power and depth to the squad. This is a scary team now

true i see them definitely being contenders this year... sure, they aren't one of the "powerhouses" from the west but I see them being in the mix of things definitely
