definitely favors the angels in this deal. as a braves fan i like kotchman but would've really liked to see Brandon Wood come to ATL as well... oh well

well if you look at their numbers for the season it's pretty even. although tex always was a good spot in the lineup because he's a switch hitter.

well they would've gotten 2 draft picks had they kept him and not resigned him as well, but who knows who those picks would've been or if they'd pan out... plus that's a long time to wait for a return on Tex. they've still got as much of a chance of signing him this offseason as they had before a trade, unfortunately that was a very slim chance to begin with... he's gonna command too much money
