Noone's posted anything about him yet...

He's a fucking enigma. He was almost labeled a bust after the Cubs took a huge risk and paid him 10 mil to turn down football, and was getting hammered in the low levels of the minors. Then the Cubs inexplicably promoted him to AA and since then he's been close to dominant. He's already with the big league club. He's being thrown right into the fire, picking up a 2-inning save today. He's likely to stay up after Wood comes back.

People are suggesting the Cubs had him working on his offspeed stuff in the low levels and not throwing his fastball as much as needed, which is 97-98 with some sink... he has decent stuff.

Gonna be interesting to watch his career develop. So far, at least, trumps Drew Henson lol

I saw him debut the other day, and I watched this game. He looked really solid, people are saying he could be the kind of reliever joba was for the yanks. He's got some sick heat. even though he was a bit shaky in his first game, I still think he did really well and give him the benefit of the doubt considering they put him in with a one run lead in a big game.

I agree, I can't wait to see how the kid does for us in the 2nd half. We need a boost in our late rotation, especially with all these leads we've been blowing.
