madden curse strikes again?
most of the time it plagues its cover boys with injuries or woeful performances on the field. this time it has plagued bret favre with the need to PLAY FOOTBALL TIL HE'S DEAD.

evil is amongst us, people.

the madden curse is no joke. it's like watching the video in the "the ring." even if john madden himself were to appear on the cover from now on, he'd undoubtedly get diagnosed with a throat cancer and never call a game again.
