I've always heard he puts on the best BP show, hitting bomb after bomb. I'm sure someone here has seen him in BP.

In fact, someone told me last year @ the HRD in San Fran, he out-slugged all the HRD participants, reaching McCovey Cove multiple times. He's also the alternate if any participant removes themself from the contest. He declined the invite this year, unfortunately.

I hope he enters when he's 40 and just drops 30 bombs and leaves baseball fans everywhere bewildered. That would be dope.

I'd bet that most hitters in MLB can go yard pretty easily, especially when it comes to BP. I mean when it comes down to it, it's about being strong and hitting it on the sweet spot. That's like 1000X's easier to do in BP. And I'm sure that like 90+% of the hitters are strong enough to hit it out regularly. Just that he's not as strong as say Ryan Howard, and they both have specific roles they play.

Ichiro is a pure average hitter. You can't be an average hitter, and a power hitter at the same time. Only player I really see do that is Albert Pujols, and maybe Manny Ramirez. And even then, they're not putting up the same averages as Ichiro who flirts with really high .300's every year.

Pujols has a career .333 avg compared to Suzuki's .331
