rockets fans know wassup

for years weve either been a bad playoff team or a lottery team. we made the playoffs but didnt have enough to win anything, and mostly every team in the west right now has had more playoff success than us in he past decade, prolly mostly every team in the whole league. but now our team finally gets their definitive pieces to start competing for real.

we got scola whos technically a rookie, but really isnt. he was draftin in 02, and hes 28 years old. this guy has nice moves, hes like a fuckin pitbull for real. hustles like a madman. in feb he averaged 12pts, 6rbs, 1stl, and 63fg%. in march he averaged 13pts, 9 rbs, 1stl, and 47fg%. had 1.5 tos in both months too. he had to be called upon more in march so his fg% dropped a lot but it still isnt bad. it went from great to good. this is his first year in the nba and he almost knows how to play the game correctly. sheed is one of the best bigs in the game but is a il inconsistent and cant reboun, big z is 15/8/1.7blk and pretty efficient. scolas just a rookie, he could reach that level but he has a lotta polishin to do.

we got landry who i thought was another chuck hayes but appeared to be a lot more. brooks can mos def be our future pg. we got rafer havin a good season, our whole team is all doin good (yao is out but hes balled out of his mind this season) tmac finally has no lingering injuries after feb, so next season he'll come in monster fresh, our whole team is doin well. all we can do is get better.

once they got ricks system down they went on a 5 game and 4 game winning streak then a 22 game winning streak, the 2nd half w/o yao. we were very fortunate about the "obstacles" we had to overcome in the streak but still, 22 in a row is insane. the most skilled basketball league in the world, and we ya we beat teams w/o their 1st or 2nd best player but we didnt have yao too, so use your fuckin head. next season they all got ricks system in their head...who knows...maybe theyll end up owning the 1st AND 2nd longest winning streaks in the nba, you can already put that one in the books (i wouldnt be surprised) we still got that jvg defense. were gonna fuckin stomp grounds like there tomarrow dont exist.

and as i put this shit down im high, so for anyone who thinks weed is stupid needs to that that thing inside their skulls and stfu (maybe not so harshly tho).

BUT, even tho their ballin the lights out they still havent advacned in the playoffs in awhile. done good in the reg season but nothin in the post season. i think we shoulda won at least 1 of our last 2 playoffs series. but w/e, now we got an actual team, we dont rely on rafers jumpshot . i can understand if no one thinks they can do good things cuz they havent proved anything in the playoffs yet, but i think know they can start their reign at the top.

sometimes tmac does embarass me. missed an open tomahawk dunk. jackson got the offensive board, but then he dribbled to the 3pt line and stayed there for awhile. i bet he was thinking "how do you even miss that man?" it was shock value. but he still killed it.

Shut up, Klas~Sick.

I feel your enthusiasm, but I think all we as Houston Rockets fans are doing when we hype these bitchass niggas up is setting up one big jinx.

I'm excited about what this current unit can do when healthy as a whole (they would have at least made the Western Conference Finals these past two seasons), but it's time to let the season itself do the talking without making these bold forecasts. All you are doing by looking at all of the pieces and thinking about how well they should be performing is setting yourself up for disappointment.

You feel me?

GO ROCKETS!!!

im not expectin them to dominate the league for after this season, im sayin that i cant wait for next season, in extreme detail. dallas, san antonio, lakers, detroit, etc all have gotten significant changes that turned them into title contenders. we barely finally gettin nice additions to the team. its about fuckin time.

it fuckin sucks i thought rafer would be able to help this team substantionally. then shane, STROMILE SWIFT!!! finally catch a fuckin break.

Longest winning streak? Nah... don't think so. What happened this year was a combination of both luck and a determined team fighting for their lives. I'm not taking anything away from them... but I do believe you're reaching just a bit.

Houston will probably play the Spurs or Lakers in the 1st round. Tmac will never make it to the 2nd round.

Book it.

T-Mac needs that killer instinct, yo... all the champions have it... he doesn't.

Yes, he does...

He showed it in Game 7 of last year's series against the Utah Jazz with 29 points (12-25 FG), 5 rebounds, 13 assists (2 turnovers), and 3 blocks

He showed it in a Game 6 homestand of the 2005 series against the Dallas Mavericks with 37 points (14-28 FG), 8 rebounds, and 7 assists to send it to a Game 7.

And, even if it was a regular season game, you don't score 13 points in 31 seconds without a bit of killer instinct in you.

The man wants it bad. But, it doesn't matter how badly you want it if the shots simply don't fall for you on any given night.

Kobe Bryant has perhaps the most killer instinct in the league, and even he has a 3-1 playoff series lead collapse on his resume.

You need players around you to get over that hump, and T-Mac has consistently faced teams with more balanced firepower than his.

i just don't see it.

hornets, lakers, mavericks, suns, and spurs stand in their way.

i want them to go far, too, because t-mac leaves it all on the floor and he's gone through back problems for like the past 3-4 seasons and still tries to play through it.

maybe that magic playoff series against the pistons was simply an omen for the rest of his career.

rox outrebound the suns by 4 even tho they got shaq and amare...dayum. shaq played 31min, amare played 42. i cant wait till next season for real. but im not glorifyin this win, just sayin outrebounding those 2 w/ our squad is insane, kinda like beatin the lakers when we were in the penatly w/ 7 min left in the 4th quarter with no one to protect the paint.

bobcats next year mang
