7 game series should only be reserved for the conference and playoff finals... the earlier rounds should be 3 and 5 games respectively... the season is already too long and the playoffs seem even longer.

Nah, the best thing for college basketball is when freshmen weren't allowed to play varsity... they had to play jv... so a lot of players stayed longer, making the game better... the greatest college basketball player of all time, Lew Alcindor, stayed all 4 years... he could've easily went straight from high school.
