but im under the impression that the pistons dont do so well on the second night of back-to-back games

it seems as thought they might be aging, in a bad way

do u think theyre getting a lil bit old to do THAT well in the playoffs?

They're getting old, but they still got what it takes to get the job done. However I dont think they're doing bad in back to back games this year or they wouldn't have nearly 50 wins. They are recently of course, and they're certainly not doing outstanding. But they've never matched up well with the cavs or ben wallace since hes left. Rasheed and a couple others like to be too buddy buddy with the guy in my opinion and play soft. They've lost three times to the bulls this year when he was still on the roster and once to the cavs while hes been on it. Its a matchup issue.

But if you're asking me if I think they'll run out of gas again the playoffs, it wouldn't surprise me but if it did I dont think it'd have anything to do with age. Flip Saunders is the worst coach in the league at making adjustments, thats where the cavs continue to hurt us. He kept our two best scorers in chauncy and rip on the bench till the 5 minute mark last night like we we're going to comeback without them in the 4th. No excuses though, we played like shit and I expected us to after scoring almost 140 the night before as I stated in the thread I made. Just something we've always done. It isn't new to this year.

On a plus note if they prove me wrong and don't end up winning this year, flip saunders will be gone. Pretty much a win, win situation for me this year. I honestly can't stand the guy.

Yo, the new look cavs are garbage. Who's a bonafide scorer on that team? They've got a ton of roll players that thanks to Lebron is all he really needs. Compliment that mu'fucka with either a defensive beast or a scoring beast, or an assists beast... and he'll dominate.

Detroit is still THAT team until BOSTON takes care of business this playoff season.

We still tryin to gel. We don't need a bonafide scorer just somebody to make open shots when lebron get doubled. Hughes was a scorer when he came here but he has no jumper and missed 80% of his wide open shots (i know i watched the games). Wally suck tho that nigga can't make a open shot. he seem like a lil girl who get excited when lebron pass him the ball.

Oh yea the cavs are a great home team so don't act like the pistons was tired(tho they prolly were a lil fatigued). Against boston at home cavs are 2-0 against boston on road cavs are 0-2. They play great defense at home and on ran get ran over.
