Don't get me wrong they beat a couple of formidable teams in New Orleans and Dallas, but the bulk of the games were against mediocre teams at best.

Denver and GS are 1st round exhibition acts. If the post season started today Cleveland and Washington wouldn't even be in playoff contention in the west.


take a Look at the paradigm of the schedule for a second, February, where they won all of their games, is a good example. you would see a pattern sort of like this...

easy team
EASY team
terrible team
medicore team
easy team
nbdl team?
formiable team
easy team
mediocre team
easy team
mediocre team
easy team

fact is, they faced playoff bound teams back to back only once the entire stretch... and that was in March.


Throw in a couple more monkey wrenches like the Spurs, Boston, Pistons, and Lakers and now that 21 game streak is maybe a 12 game win streak.
