The Rockets coaching staff had nothing but positive things to say about his work ethic in practice and coachability but said that he doesn't fill specific team needs at the moment. There's no time for on-the-job training, and he was dropped in favor of size (the 6-11 Justin Williams) due to Yao going down... And, there's still an outside chance that they'd want to resign him if he were still available.
