Just watch several real fights that eventually go into grappling range. I'am sure you've seen someone get beaten while someone was mounted on top of them or while someone had them in an headlock on the ground etc? Well BJJ addresses that.

Yeah, but it usually comes after someone going ape shit... not someone waiting around then going spread eagle and dry humping their way to victory.

Basically, it's just like most other martial arts forms - they're great in a ring and in organized/controlled environments. But these dudes usually look clueless as hell once in a fight outside.

My cousin does BJJ and I whoop his ass, when we both get pissed. But if we were set up on a mat, he'd probably get me.

monet22 takes it up the butt!
karate would overtake BJJ and as well as kung-fu, BJJ is not effective standing and the other two but when it gets to the ground thats all about BJJ

Maybe that's because they weren't trained grapplers you saw fighting.

I was talking about being able to escape an headlock especially on the ground. BJJ adresses these types of escapes and reversals.
