Do you know anyone else who gets M-V-P chants in cities that got no business chanting this shit? I mean, first Boston... BOSTON people... that city is about as Anti-Lakers as any you will ever visit and for their fans to do so has to tell you something. Even if there were Lakers fans in the stands... that's some shit you just don't hear. Boston fans know basketball. And last night... the people of Sacramento were chanting M-V-P for their constant tormentor as he brought the visiting team back and willed his team to victory.

This will be the last year I campaign for Kobe to get his MVP trophy. If he doesn't get it this year, it's obvious he never will. He is the best all around player. Key word: ALL AROUND. He's had to put up with garbage teams trying to do it all, just like Lebron nowadays, and never got the credit he deserved.

Reminder: Lets keep this to on the court merits and independent of his life off the court.

and for the moron that keeps saying kobe isn't clutch in the 4th or towards the ends of games, apparently you don't live in LA and watch all the games and second:

The only time i saw something that shocking is when the jazz fans in utah gave lebron a standing ovation after he dropped 50 on they head a few years ago.

Only a idiot would say kobe not in beast mode in the fourth quarter. Most his points come off the free throw line tho cuz he blows past his defender so easy. Kobe is my vote even tho i think lebron should win cuz his team is 0-7 without him. The west is very strong but every team got two stars in the west. Lebron been goin nuts in the fourth this year more than kobe but since kobe in the west i give him the nod.

The case of what player is more valuable to his team is valid, and that is why a lot of people say lebron>kobe in the mvp race....but for a player on a worse team, in a wayyyyy worse division on a worse team needs to have a HUGE statistical gap over kobe if he wants my vote for mvp. kobe for mvp.

Real talk gasol is the reason the lakers so much better now. he had 31 points and 14 boards yesterday but it got no mention. Kobe got help plain and simple to be real kobe got a deep squad. The cavs will too when everybody comes back healthy.

If lebron ends the season averagin 30/8/7 he will be the first player since jordan in like 87 to average those numbers. lebrons stats are mind blowing when they say no player has done it since jordan and jerry west.

Bron a beast but kobe better at shooting and barely better at defense. Kobe gonna win it tho and i have no problem with him winning it like i would have if kevin garnott won it

I just wanted to point out how opposing teams fans have chanted m-v-p for kobe - in 2 of the unlikeliest settings too, Boston and Sacramento, among others.

and yeah... gasol had a good game statistically.. but if you watched the game Kobe WILLED the team, beating double teams, getting to the rack and either finishing or getting the foul called, constantly blowing by artest in the closing minutes. and why all the haters now that kobe has some help? nash has ALWAYS had help. Nowitski has had help (including nash) Duncan has had Manu and Parker.

i will say this tho... once lebron gets a CONSISTENT outside shot... he will be unstoppable, like jordan was.

When did the boston fans chant it? The celtics smoked them niggaz both times this year. Yea every team in the west got 2 stars atleast. Melo-iverson,duncan-ginobli and parker, Yao-t-mac, kobe,gasol and so on thats why the west is so vicious. You right bout nash having help but when he don't play they don't win for some odd reason.
