If the NBA playoffs started today
With the current positions as posted on nba.com this is what the playoffs would look like.

San Antonio vs. Golden State----------> winner:Spurs(defense before offense)
Lakers vs. Houston----------------------> winner:Lakers(woulda been tough even w.Yao)
New Orleans vs. Phoenix---------------->winner:New Orleans (4-0 this year against Suns)
Utah vs. Dallas---------------------------> winner:Utah (deron will be latest to rape kidd)



east:

Boston, Detroit and Cleveland. Detroit over Cleveland in a remake of last years playoffs with a different ending. Then with Detroit in a close and memorable series with Boston.

i wanna say the same but cp3 has shown a lot of poise... and despite what people think of regular season games not being important, i think for a young team like them, it's empowering - knowing that you beat them all 4 games this season. i've seen it happen too when a team has lost all their games in the regular season, faced the team in the playoffs and came away with the win, but i don't see it happening this time. imo.

i think the matrix needs the suns as much as the suns need him. dude was a match up problem when combined with a solid cast. as a #1 or even #2 option dude will not thrive. he's been successful by perpetually being in motion and coming from the weakside. phoenix will make the playoffs... still got enough fire power but i don't think they scare anyone anymore. matchup wise most teams matchup well or better.

and golden state is missing something. i mean, i love barron davis cus duke plays with heart and leaves it all out on the court... but he be jacking up some shots that are questionable. it just feels like they missing something tho. not sure what. it might be an inside presence. we've seen run and gun fail in the playoffs.

some shots are questionable? psh, A LOT are and i'mma warriors fan, you can tell when he's gonna shoot em'...i say "don't do it" to the tv...even if he makes em' i say it was a bad shot...

stephen jackson is getting better at not taking bad shots...

but since biedrins had his apendectomy...brandan wright has been starting...kid is beasting...i wonder if nelson will play those 2 on the court as the sametime for 2 big guys in the paint instead of webber/biedrins...

nelson got some tricks up his sleeve, and a guard like monta ellis shoot'n 53% for the season is NASTY when you also take into account that beidrins is over 60% from the field...

and now croshere is getting mins. from balling
