only thing i hope for right now is, kobe has the stamina to go into 25 shots per game mode until bynum comes back and win at least half of our next 30.

that would still put us about 12 or so games over 500 and we would be able to get bynum back into form and start dominance again in the last 15 games of the regular season.

i'll be so happy when bynum comes back thou. it sucks to see kobe haveto go out of his mind to win us a game against a shitty team.

word. we were playing the best ball in the league (see: http://www.nba.com/powerrankings/) and now they gotta show that they do have what it takes. nothing is ever easy. and again... injuries are part of the game.. every team goes through them. i just hope we get him back in time so we can start dominating again.

next game is going to be a big test and a sign of things to come.

especially Andrew Bynum so that will be a big test for them to see how they can hold up when he's out
though Portland is the best suprise so far
lots of young talented players but they lacked team experience before the season started

aw, too bad the spurs are just taking the regular season off and will absolutely demolish the lakers in the postseason.

they've got a rough 30 days coming up, if they can remain in the top 4 after games against phoenix, dallas, san antonio, and detroit this month and after an 8 game road trip in february...kobe will be the unanimous mvp.

anyone hear from double??? lol. oh wait... the suns play tonight against the clippers and the lakers have a day off. so unless the suns get bit by the bug that bit detroit the night they played the knicks... they should be up percentage pts because of the extra game played.

i guess we'll just have to wait for his sorry ass to show up around 8:30 or halftime (by which time the clippers would have given up and be down an amazing 29 pts) and we can call it a day.

that might be true for everyone in the west though. there really isn't a powerhouse team this year. dallas just cant seem to get together after the playoffs of last year and phoenix has been kind of sad this year.

also i dont know how effective the spurs will be. with tim duncan not having a real dominant year, a lot of the spurs production comes from the perimeter with ginobili and tony parker which can be somewhat of a weakness against teams like the suns, where the major mismatch for them is in the paint.
