Cavs beat the Pistons with a brilliant gameplan, great game inside the paint, solid defense and a megastar performance by one LBJ (game 5). Wasn't a one man show. Mike Brown was more prepared that Flip Saunders, and now I feel like I can translate that into most coaches facing off against Doc Rivers.

I'd still take Detroit in a 7 game series easily. This is the regular season, you can't automatically translate a great record into playoff success. How many teams with the "best overall record" have failed to win the NBA championship in X number previous years?

Everytime the C's win though I have to lmao @ a heated conversation earlier this year at work that turned into a stupid bet-- overly hyped Cavs fan betting that the Cavs would finish with a better reg. season record than the C's... ouch, the Celtics will have clinched that bet by all star break.
