Former Chicago Bulls great Scottie Pippen says he's serious about coaching, and if there is an opening with the Chicago Bulls, he believes he's perfect.

"What's my disadvantage?" Pippen asked. "No NBA coaching experience? [Scott] Skiles' record with the Bulls wasn't that great. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to do what you've done your whole life. I've played basketball, run teams and won.

"They didn't put me at point guard because I could dribble good. They put me there because I could run a team. I wasn't the best dribbler, the best shooter. I wasn't a point guard. But I knew how to run a team."

Avery Johnson has always been a dope coach and it seemed like he started coaching Dallas after a couple years of being out of the league...It can be done I say give that nigga a chance.

your comparison makes no sense.

i dont see any NBA players retiring, falling off radar, and then starting their own team.

i understand the love of the game, blah blah blah

i feel it everyday for baseball

but fact of the matter is, pippen is a jerk and im sorry but i would never EVER hire a guy to coach my team unless he proved to me beyond a shadow of a doubt that he had changed his ways after his little crybaby stunt where he wouldnt go back into the game at the end of a game when the last play, and potentially winning basket shot was called, and it wasnt meant for him.

people who try to shortcut the coaching system by using their playing days as experience don't typically work out too well as coaches. since pippen is trying to do just that, just as isiah did, it was a fair comparison. and considering how delusional both are (pippen thinking coaching is extremely easy and isiah thinking that his team can turn it around) the comparison is even more valid.

in the rest of the interview he effectively threw every player under the bus as well. and he expects these guys to play for him? the guy is a fucking nutcase, as are you, you mancrushing militant-wannabe.
