My only problem with Rose is he doesn't have that Kobe'ish killer instinct. Like when they played USC, he was extremely too passive.

He showed 3 times that he could make OJ look silly off the dribble, but he only tried it 3 times the entire game. The rest, he just stood around and passed it. I was disappointed.

Unfortunately, he'll be gone next year so I'm not getting too attached.

why try to slash and do it himself, thats not his responsibility as a player, thats up to the SG and SF to drive to the lane and make strong cuts. Rose CAN do it, but whats the point? he doesnt have to.

Assists - 2.4
Minutes - 32

Rose:
Points - 15.7
Steals - 1.3
Rebounds - 5.1*

Minutes - 28

People never factor in the roles these guys play either. Or how many minutes they're playing.

Rose is on a team where he isn't the scorer. There are 5 other guys that can hit double digits every night.
Gordon? He's the offense, and his numbers still arent that much better when you factor in the minutes.

If Rose played for a shit team like Indiana? He'd avg at least 24 ppg. At least. He rarely shoots the ball with Memphis.

I was more-so talking about skills but Indiana isn't a shit team. They're in a shit conference (like Memphis) but that's about it. Indiana also has D.J. White so the "Gordon is the Indiana offense" argument doesn't fly.

Gordon is also a better FT and 3PT shooter than Rose and Mayo...don't forget to add that to your stats.

That's true. He strikes me as one of those types that just have a good year, and then fade away. He doesn't look as good as his numbers do when you watch him.

LOL...the more I read your post the more I'm convinced you don't know much about basketball. Rose's entire thing is he is a pass first point guard. I watched this dude in high school, and he made average players look very good because he is so unselfish. To put him in the same category as a selfish Mayo is just stupid, but I did forget to consider the source.

I understand what his rep was coming out of HS but for a pass first PG to only be averaging 4.3 assists so far...that doesn't say much about Rose then. Especially with all the quality guys around him.
