I doubt I get a response, but I will ask this anyway. Does anyone know how I can watch some of the league games besides getting DirectTV?

The year that I started somewhat following it was the year Arsenal had the undefeated season, so I follow them. I am still upset that Henry left, but I think the team will be younger and it will serve them better in future seasons. I also attempt to keep up with Fulham, because my favorite American player plays for them (Clint Dempsey) and I really want him to develop so we have a chance to make it out of group play in 2010. Who do you support...please don't say Manchester United...lol.

Arsenal has been my squad since 98, or.. roughly since the time Henry joined the club, so that would be 99. Henry is my favourite player of all time, and I first saw him in the 98 World Cup, but I'm not too upset about him leaving (relatively speaking)....

We ( Arsenal) are lacking the proven, world-class talent of some of the other teams in the prem, but we have good youngsters, so one of them will need to step up and play big if we're going to challenge for the title.

I think Van Persie needs to take the next step, that means he has to score upwards of 18 goals this year and start being the prolific scorer they think he can be. I'm excited to see what Eduardo Da Silva can bring us also.

I won't be able to see the match on sunday, though. No one in Canada seems to be carrying it..

I'm guessing you don't get the Fox Soccer channel but they show a few tape-delayed Premiership matches a few times a week as well as the different tourneys going on and whatnot.

And werd at Fulham...they got 3 americans doing their thing over there. Then there's guys like Howard at Everton, Friedel at Blackburn, Spector at West Ham, Convey at Reading. Americans are stepping up, which is good to see.

No, I do get Fox sports channel, but a lot of the games you're talking about are US-only broadcasts for whatever reason.

Some of the games will be Canada/US... but a good percentage of them are blacked out in Canada.

Watch the matches you want, yeah it's ppv, but it beats paying the full monthly fee for satellite if you don't want to get Dish/DirecTV and only want to see a few important games.

Yeah, I am not too pleased with my cable provider. I don't have any of the fox sports channels, so I was really pissed during the college basketball season when I can't watch ACC Sunday.

Henry is my favorite player also. Dude is so exciting to watch, and that contributed to me following Arsenal. Now I am geniunely a fan of the team and the culture of the club. I prefer the way they do things as opposed to teams like Man U and Liverpool. If anyone sees a tape delay of the Arsenal/Fulham match, let me know how both sides looked.

From the recaps, it seems that Fulham competed pretty well against Arsenal for the entire game until the final few minutes. Also, I read that Clint missed a chance that probably would have allowed Fulham to pull the upset. It sounds like it was a pretty exciting game...wish I could have seen it. Does anyone have a torrent of it?

I think my favorite player is Drogba, although that may just be because he's a beast on FIFA 2007.
