But I 100% think that the Bears are the NFC favorites to go to the Super Bowl. The only area of question is at RB and I don't think it'll be a problem. Other than that, we are completely upgraded at DT, TE, and Safety. We still have IMO, the best offensive line. 2 of the best linebackers in the NFL in Urlacher and Briggs , even if we only have him for one year. I think Grossman will be better this year considering we're implementing the shotgun and Greg Olsen as a safety valve ain't too shabby. He and Hester are going to open up things crazy for the running game. We improved on a team that was damn good already.

Barring any catastrophic injuries (which do happen mind you), I can comfortably say we're winning it all.

Gorilla you know me...last year I was the main one saying that it was our year and we were taking it off. I did this same thing last year by starting a thread (although it was more foul) informing the board that we were winning it all. But this year, I honestly can't do it. I just get a bad vibe after how the management treated everyone this off season. They shouldn't have jerked Lovie around for so long with his extension. They shouldn't have screwed Lance. I just don't see things coming together this season. I hope that I'm wrong, because I want to see a superbowl victory so badly, but I don't see it happening this year.

^damn we just barely started playing pre-season games and here we go with this "afc will win the super bowl" garbage. Atleast wait a few regular season games and decide who the top teams are in the league before just annoiting them based on conference.

Oh and any team with Rex Grossman at QB more than likely won't be putting together a Super Bowl season.

I'm undecided about the Panthers at the moment so I'll hold off on the trash talk for a while.

Yeah we've been good the past few years, I don't understand why people are still underestimating us. I'm watching their first preseason game right now and can tell Grossman has definitely improved. Benson had some good runs, looks strong. Griese already has completed a couple lovely bombs.

Oddly enough, our defense seems to be having a bit of trouble. Apparently the offense outperformed the defense during camp. But I have no doubt in my mind the D will pick up steam.

The Bears are definitely a contender and with biases aside, see them going to the Bowl. Again.

As much as I dislike the Bears, I admit that they have a good shot at winning it all. I really don't care who wins as long as it isn't the Patriots, but they also are going to be really good.

I just wish the Panthers had a real quarterback and then we might win a few games

Bears should have won the superbowl last season. Since they couldn't beat a choking qb with zero defense...i'm not going to expect them to do much in the post season vs a better team. Whoever it may be.

Grossman couldnt win the superbowl with the AFC pro bowl team...

and after the dumbest cut this offseason, i say the bears going to the playoffs is they best think that can happen...
