He didn't get booed either...at least on a large scale, more were clapping and cheering rather than booing.

i think it depends on the team i mean diske matsuzacka could easily get 300 wins if he rides with the red sox for the next couple of years he could rack up a couple of 20 win seasons for the next 5 or 6 years. he could easily play for 20 more years.

Dice-K isn't getting 300 wins, he turns 27 next month, and is 287 wins away. I think he will be protected as his career goes on to preserve his arm, and he will have to stay injury free throughout his career, and be able to last until he is nearly 50. The only pitcher currently I feel comfortable with saying he has a chance at 300 wins is Sabathia.
