The New York Yankees
I'm pretty new to Rapmusic.com so I'm pretty sure this thread has been done to death but I was wondering, does anybody expect to see the Yankees around when the post season arrives? I'm a New York Yankees fan so I'm a bit biased. But the way they have played since the all star break is excellent. If the pitching can continue to give us quality starts then I believe we will be around when October rolls around.... opinions?

Wildcard is a possibility, but they just seem to hot and cold this season, but if Cleveland, Seattle and Minnesota falter then they got a clear shot at the wild card.

I am close to a maybe, but I doubt it. The AL has too many good teams. The yankees have the best chance of moving up right now because I think they have like 16 games against teams with a record of below 500.

Its kind of a weak schedule thing too.

Actually, that and they have to beat Boston.... Which is possible.

Acutally again.... This week is big... Especially these four games vs. the Royals... being that they need to win... Because either Bos. or Cle. is going to lose in their series.

I think Seattle will loose steam down the stretch unless their pitching keeps it up, but I don't see it. Minnesota is like half a game behind the Yankees but they seem to be a second half team. I think it will come down to NY, Cleveland and Minnesota..

As a Yankees fan I'm feeling real good about our team and our chances right now. Even though we're playing some pretty bad teams right now we've just been playing really well as of late. We might lose like one but we come back and get a whole shit load of wins. Momentum is in our favor right now.
