people are sleeping this year...and rightfully so seein we aint done much since that record season in 01 but this year is a whole new feel to it

still got a major need in starting pitching but regardless...we've come back and closed in within a game of the angels(fuck um) and 1 1/2 game behind cleveland for the wild card

how the hell are they doin it?

Bullpen is fuckin ridiculous, arguably the best in the game...JJ Putz aint blown a save this year and has 31 consecutive i believe...0.78 ERA this year for Putz...WOW

#3 in the AL in batting average with . 281... .284 with runners in scoring position, thats #2 behind the tigers...the defense is also pretty good

shit i think they'll pass the angels cuz they are slippin and they offense aint hittin at all

ichiro and putz are legit MVP candidates...putz is a legit contender for the cy young at this point as well...probably won't get it cuz of where they play but still...

yeah the mariners are a tough team this year

the red sox still have a better bullpen though

honestly, im rooting for cleveland or detroit to be the wild card, i wouldnt want 2 see the red sox face the mariners in the playoffs, they've been spanking the sox this year pretty good

Batista, Washburn, and Felix have been solid in the rotation but it's Ramirez and Weaver that are stinking it up. Weaver did have a good stretch but now he seems back to the old Weaver.

^ ya man...the red sox cant win at the mariners place...they won 2 str8 last week ..but they lost 9 str8 there at Seattle...there offense is good man, but i dont think ur gonna make it...but i called it b4 the yr when i seen there lineup...watch out for them..even tho there pitching is shaky..its not awful

and should be able 2 beat any takers the only teams having me worried at detroit and seattle, either of those could beat boston in a sereis

i agree...i dont know how ramirez is 7-3...everytime he pitches the offense just steps up..dudes ERA is over 7 shit...and weaver...ah i wasn't happy when they signed him and i see why now..dude is terrible
