Who is your fav MMA fighter?

Mine's Anderson Silva, i been a fan of his for a while now, not an overnight fan (literally.. lol) i been a fan of his since he won the cage rock middleweight title over lee murray, first time i saw him fight

he's been a god damn beast in the UFC, he had a little trouble with louder, but he had double knee surgery only 11 weeks before the fight, he gonna be the champ for a while, if franklin gets the rematch it'll be a repeat performance of when silva won the title from rich.

I love Silva too. That dude is hilarious. I wish he could speak English because I swear they don't translate what he actually saying. I almost passed out from laughter when he was talking about having an after party after he destroyed Travis Lutter.

My favorite MMA fighter is Rampage. I love watching that dude just pick up guys and slamming them on their heads like its the WWE...lol. My second fav is Wanderlei. I was shocked when he lost to Dan Henderson, but I still love watching that dude fight.

where was espn and all these other homos 4-5 yrs ago when shit was really serious??

i remember how everybody on this site used to talk down on mma except a few heads that dont post here anymore to my knowledge..

You're using that term incorrectly. When people refer to bandwagon fans, in most cases, they are referencing fans that do not start following a team/person until they start winning and ignore them when they weren't good. For the most part, the UFC and especially Pride had horrible marketing until Dana White took over. I remember me and my friend's would catch fights sporadically because it was difficult to get cable coverage for the UFC and we were too cheap to order pay per views. The reality series really helped the sport take off and its really a good thing, I don't see why you would hate that its now on espn. If it wasn't for "band wagon fans" we probably wouldn't have seen the UFC explode and we wouldn't have seen the UFC buy pride. We wouldn't get to see Anderson Silva vs Rich Franklin and other future match ups we will have the opportunity to see because of the UFC's purchase...so if having band wagon fans means we get to see the fights we want to see, God bless band wagon fans.

ive been watching this shit for a minute.. pride for over 5 years and ufc off and on for probably 7-10 yrs.. unlike the new flood of people who got started lika yr ago..

marketing wasnt a problem.. pride was doing fine Internationally.. in fact the new type of marketing is killing the sport.. u kids have no clue on this sports, its insane...

problem lies with the american audience/public/society.. the reason why Pride struggled with the states is cus the NEvade commsion are a bunch of bitches and wanted them to use UFC rules, which are garbage BTW.. that and cus most americans are ignorant rednecks.. the only thing they know is having two guys stand in front of each other and exchange.. they dont understand the ground game or all the different styles(judo, bjj, sambo)

uhm by the end of this year Pride will be the minor leagues UFC is taking all their good fighters and its pissing me and im sure other people who actcually watch Pride off.

BTW my favorite fighter is the other Silva, Wanderli and of course Fedor. I know Wanderli took a L to Hendo but I find him so entertaining crazy motherfucker.

their shows/crowds @ arenas and that show of theirs gives mma a bad image.. total rednack status.. check out pride and its was the total opposite.. their fans understood the whole mma game, from the standout to the groundgame.. UFC fans boo when they go the the ground.. they are totally ignorant to the sport.. and the reality show is a perfect example of whats wrong.. not only do their fights suck donkey dick they have no respect for the sport.. they look like the typical ignorant frat boy/jock..

Matt Hughes and Vitor Belfort were always my favorite fighters. Belfort fell off hard though even though alot of people thought he was overrated to begin with.
