Too many good teams are going to be in their way for the wildcard (no chance at the division).

Twins
Blue Jays

They'll do just like they did this month put together a good strreak of wins because their bats will get hot for a while but then they'll go cold, lose a few games and lose all the ground they gained. A-Rod is a beast but him opting out might be a blessing in disguise so they can atleast try a slight roster overhaul and not break the bank on more offensive players instead of getting quality pitching (both starters and bullpen).
