1,152 it for Miguel Tejada??
The tests appear to be in, and the results appear to be dire. ESPN.com reported late Thursday night that Miguel Tejada has suffered a fractured left wrist, an injury that will likely end his consecutive games streak. Tejada, who has played in 1,152 consecutive games, could be out for two months or more.
Dude has the 5th longest consecutive games streak in baseball and needs 56 more to be in ••h on the all time list...
Tejada says he okay so they gave him the benefit of the doubt and didnt put him on the DL yet... instead they put him in the 2 spot, he bunted on base in his first at bat, and was substituted for a pinch runner....
He has played in every single baseball game (A's and Orioles) since June of 2000..
He says hes fine and In a way, since the Baltimore Orioles are doing so poorly, I would trust him and let him keep playing to atleast keep the streak alive and keep some excitement in Baltimore....but on the other hand if he hurts it more, not only would that ruin his streak but any chance of him being dealt to a championship bound team, which would also be unfair to Tejada....
