is this even debatable? Zab is gunna' wipe the floor with that pretty boy faggot. Zab's just too damn fast and hit's too damn hard to be stopped. I feel bad for Cotto and all his fans especially on the eve of the Puerto Rican day parade.

cotto will more then likely touch the canvas though...but i dont think zab will ko him...he def has the power..maybe a tko..but cotto knows how to handle himself when hes hurt...and i would put money on zab getting hurt trying to finish cotto

i guarantee you though...in the first minutes of the fight...you will see cotto's jab hitting zab like a left hook....the power difference will be apparent from the beginning...and you will see zab's speed...zab will make cotto look slow as hell....the speed factor will also be very apparent...the thing is...both of them have the skill to offset each others stregnths....

both of them have contested chins so this fight is gonna be interesting...

either way...

zab will win the first 3-6 rounds...after that...i think cotto will begin to wear him down....

and if zab ever puts his back to the ropes...the fight is over

Yea, Zap has more power than cotto. Even if Cotto has the same amount of power as Zab, then Zab's speed would be the determining the factor.

Zab's blend of speed and power is TREMENDOUS.


Cotto has serious power too, but he is more of a breakdown type fighter. He will punish your body for multiple rounds until you fall out.


Zab will floor you any given second, one punch type of shit. Cotto leans more towards putting his punches together to break you down over time.

Yeah, Zab had Kostya Tsyzu ready to go in the first round... Round 1 ended, Yoel told Zab stay focused we will knock him out later... Zab was like, fuck that I got this. He lost focus, then we all know the chicken dance cam next.


Then the Carlos Baldomir shit, wow... Zab didnt prepare at all for it, he thought he was gonna walk to an easy win. Carlos came to fight and ended up winning.


Those are two fights Zab has no business losing.


Physically he has the tools to be one of the best ever, its just mentally where he lacks things,


But I thnk he will KO Miguel

im not denying zab has power..he DEF has good power..i just dont think he has the power advantage...

his speed and power together are impressive though....but flat out raw power i give to cotto....

you can say zab hits hard...one punch power? no...its his speed that produces the one punch ko's cause most of the time the opponent doesnt see it...cotto on the other hand has dislocated branco's shoulders by punching through his gaurd and mutated malignaggi's face....and produces one punch body ko's regularly which is harder to do on a regular basis

zab has suprise you dont see me power...cotto has bulldozer power.....you can see it coming and it will still hurt like a mufucka.....

But you gota understand that everything you just said about Cotto happened over a buildup of rounds.


Cotto punches to the body all fight, so in round 9 when he hits you in the ribs and yougo down, its not because of that ONE body shot, the buildup factored in a lot.


Now if Cotto were to come out, round 1 and KO somebody on a body shot I would understand. But Cotto puts his punches together and breaks you down over rounds.

Liquid, thats how all of Zabs fights go. I hope you're not tryna make it out like that was a one of a kind prediction.



As for the fight...


I went how I thought it would go. When Zab actually threw punches he would stagger Cotto. But Cotto keeps coming, he fights like a fuckin champion. He was relentless.


Zab stopped punching and Cotto dominated, Yoel always gets frustrated cuz Zab just stops punching, I dont know what it is about him.


I think Zab knows this is the end of the road for him, he kept tryna mention a rematch in the post fight interview. Does he honestly think he warrants a rematch??


There nowhere to go from here for him, he'd have to ring off a string of victories to even think about being mentioned again.


As for Cotto's future,

He's gonna beat the Margarito/Williams winner... Then I say he should fight Shane to get more star power. After those two wins I see a showdown with Mayweather, thats when he will lose first.


If Ricky Hatton beats Castillo and moves back up to 147 he can get it to.


Other than Floyd I dont see anybody beatng Cotto right now.
