Lmao now I know why floyd sr talks like that haah dude took a bad beating...its funny watching floyd sr he looks like a clumsy version of his son not polished and out of sync...floyd jr is perfection personified in the ring...it makes me laugh though at floyd sr getting mollywopped by sugar ray .

lmao damn sugar ray made floyd sr look super dooper bad...floyd sr was one of the sorriest fighters to be honest...its kinda funny how his son floyd jr is so good.

and floyd sr has the nerve to diss freddie roach like i said before at least roach fought back and didnt just stand there and take some punches haah.

floyd sr is the human punching bag.

I'm VERY surprised that he is training Floyd Jr..... Little Floyd must have "natural talent" because his father wasn't worth a DAMN in the ring...yet he demanded 2 mil from De La Hoya to train him ...I wonder if De La Hoya saw this fight ....hahahahahaha...this guy is a joke. Freddie Roach > Floyd Sr. as a trainer...

ya floyd sr is a joke the one thing him and his son share is not talent...but arrogance lol thats it...

floyd sr was a sorry ass fighter this fight looks like a dude just picking on some defensless creature...floyd sr looked confused as hell.

Roach has cornered almost 18 world chamions, he multitasks and has some of the best strategies before fights...people dont realize that its not how long you train with a trainer its the strategy and gameplan that that trainer comes up with prior to the fight and him helping you make the adjustments during the fight...people think roach is gonna have to train oscar from scratch...lol oscar is already trained he just needs a good tactician.

Floyd sr you cant even understand wtf comes out his mouth dude cusses and slurs like he is drooling like a rabid dog.

As a trainer Floyd Sr is very good, you all should know that talent in the sport of your craft has nothin to do with being a good coach/trainer. It is well known that some of the best coaches ever were the guys who were average players at their best.

Floyd Sr was a decent fighter, but he just didnt posses the physical things needed to execute.

Freddie Roach was a decent fighter, but hes a great trainer.

Being great in the ring doesnt always go hand in hand with being a great trainer, and vice versa.

PS. Floyd Sr was worth the $2 mill he asked from Oscar... Oscar is gonna make like $35 mill and trainers are supposed to get 10%, so $2 mill is a discount, not to mention Floyd Sr. has been his trainer for years now... they mesh well, they see eye to eye and Floyd Sr would be his best chance at beating Floyd.

Now about the video, damn Ray Leonard was that dude... I cant see how you can be a grown ass man and just get mangled like this

My interpretation is that Oscar knew right away when he signed the fight that Mayweather Sr. wouldn't be training him because of family relations. It is his son after all, so you never know how much Sr. could possibly be holding back. Rather than dismissing Mayweather right away, De La Hoya thought it would be wiser to make an offer to Mayweather so small that it would be Mayweather rejecting the offer rather than De La Hoya letting him go.
