22 points on a solid percentage and 10 assists....too bad the best player on their team besides him right now is fucking earl boykins.....

i dont agree with his low minutes low....probably wouldve won if they would have played him normally....

Boykins is bad as fuck. I think Iverson and Anthony will be good, but I really don't see them doing any damage in the playoffs. I might be wrong though, cause I think I remember Melo being lights out last year in a game or two of the playoffs. So if they could pick up each others slack on the off nights, they might have something.

Playmakers and ball control.

Adding more stars to the team doesn't mean your assists will automatically go up. When you have more playmakers on the team, AI won't have as many opportunites to rack up the assists because he won't have the ball in his hands nearly as much. Not a chance AI averages double digit assists.

I dont really like the Sixers, but I would love to see them to go to the Finals this year. If that happens, Iverson is gonna look like a player who doesnt know how to win.

Their main weapon, Melo, isn't only a perimeter score, he has an inside and outside game with a quick first step and can play the post at 6'8 unlike Vince which why you can't compare the two teams.

The Nets have like Cliff Robinson for an inside presence. The Nets are more like the Warriors or even the Hornets would make a better comparison than Denver.

Carmelo is still considered a perimeter player. When Tony Parker or LeBron dominate points in the paint statistics they still are known as perimeter players.

All I was saying with the comparison is that they are loaded in the backcourt/ perimeter players. It didn't have anything to do with comparing any individual player to another.

yea...considering hes already taken one team to the finals in his career....whether he won it or not...theres plenty of great players past and present who didnt even get that far
