Yeah, maybe but I doubt it. Just cause Ryans leads the league in tackles. Or 2nd I think. Good cases could be made for and against both though. And there is still one game left. They are pretty neck and neck.

i wouldnt give it to anderson for the simple fact hes not an everydown player

lot easier to rack up sacks in obvious passing situations

No, I definately saw Hawk on the radar. He and Ryans have similar stats, just that Ryans has him beat by like 30 tackles. Other than that, they are pretty much the same.

As for Scott vs. the DE's my main pont was that Scott should be leading far and away in tackles. I understand that Taylor/Kampman would have more sacks, but Scott should have more tackles. I haven't looked at Adalius Thomas, but I'd imagine it's the same story as Ray Lewis leads the team with 90 some odd tackles.

As far as Anderson, I understand what you're saying. But I don't think for one second that his stats should be diminished by the fact he come's in only in passing situations. If anything, that would make him have less sack opportunities, meaning he's taking advantage of how few he gets. Where it does hurt him is in the tackle department. That's why I put Ryans above him, very slightly. I think Freeney may have been used in the same manner his rookie year, and he was DROY.

What's crazy too is wasn't GB's other linebacker DROY a year or 2 ago? Can't remember his name. Imagine if they had 2 back to back ROY's on defense. If they could get it together on offense, and Ahman Green could stay healthy, they could be scary next year. It's just too bad the owners don't want to commit to Brett Favre, cause I think he's still got game. If they comitted to winning in free agency, I have no doubt he would be a top 10 QB.

1) Bart scott leads the team in tackles with 99.. lewis has 95, thomas 81..

2) andersons sacks are inflated.. check the numbers.. 10+ sacks have came when the bears were leading..

3.5 came in the 1st half while 8.5 came in the 2nd.. you can break this down further.. he posted none in the 1st quarter, 3.5 in the 2nd, 2 in the 3rd, and 6.5 in the 4th..

lets look at his sacks compared with the scoring margin

he has 3 sacks when the margin is 7 pts or less.. he has .5 sacks when the difference is 8-14 pts..

when the bears are up 15+ pts he has 8.5 sacks

great pass rusher but hes clearly benifiting from spelling ogun and brown and playing in blowouts
