Kidd IMO is better than Nash but has been hampered with injuries and bad teams. When the Nets made it to the Finals the NBA is what at a very low point. There was really no competition compared to today. I mean now the West and East are unpredictable.

Before, you'd have some clear cut teams with stars that would make it and they didn't have as much competition. Nowadays from the West there are about 3 powerhouses (Dallas, San Antonio, Phoenix) that have a shot and the rest can beat any team in the league on any given night. In the East there are about 3 or 4 teams that have a shot of emergin too (Miami, Cleveland, Chicago, Detroit), except the only difference is the other teams all suck and it isn't as competitive.

But Kidd IMO is better than Nash.
