very interesting.

When people say their can be one Michael Jordan or better I laugh.

Kobe may be the closest but there's only one MJ.

Scoring 81 points doesn't mean your the greatest and dropping 81 points was done originially in the 1970's but they don't count it. I forgot that guys name he was on the west coast but ended up becoming a crackhead but was a high draft pick for the Nets.

MJ could shoot free throws with his eyes closed and had to go against tough teams in his era. The 98 Utah Jazz were the shit and all those niggas were huge.

Kobe isn't a leader and that's one asset that Jordan had makes Phil Jackson just wonder what went wrong.

Kobe doesn't make his teammates better and he's working harder than he should. Jordan would drop a decent 50, sitout the 4th quarter and his team was good enough to finish the game.

Here are the jordans or as in years, you can argue.

84-85 Rookie Jordan/ 2002-2003 Orlando Magic Tracy McGrady
I feel in 02-03 McGrady could do no wrong but it was his team.

90-91 Jordan/ 2005-2006 D'Wayne Wade
D-Wade that year can run through the defense and put his team on his shoulders

96-97 Jordan/ 2005-2006 Kobe Bryant
KB8 brought it that year reminded of Jordan when he came out of retirement.

97-98 Jordan/ 2000-2001 Vince Carter
Vince was hitting jumpers and dunking on any center that challenged him.

LOL.....this is one of those debates that are completely burnt out 4 me, since I've been debatin em since 03....this, along with him messin the Lakers up, and Shaq leavin, and D Wade vs Kobe are just tired topics 2 me now.

Kobe and Jordan are two players who play the same sport, same position, and are known for doing some of the same things......but they are completely different players, in completely different eras, in completely different situations, with completely different personalities, who have completely different backgrounds, played for completely different teams. I wouldn't go as far as Barkley by saying "The only thing they have in common is that they are both black!" but truth is, it's hard as hell to compare.

I am a Kobe and Lakers fan, and I'll say that Jordan is definitely better than Kobe, and that Kobe's legacy will never be what Jordan's was in any way. However, people will continue to compare him because he's the closest thing, and because he has done many things that Jordan hasn't done. Personally, it doesn't even matter if Kobe wins four more titles and he does them "on his own"...because he still won't be Jordan, and Jordan won't be Kobe.

the guards were better
the fowards were equal
and the center position actually existed

they also knew what the concept of team was, played defense , and best of all they knew how to shoot..

nowadays you're lucky if a player know hows to do one of those things

I was a big bull fan. I watched a finals game when they '3-peated'.... so much for your stupid watching lakers during the phil era. I was started being a laker fan during the del harris days. NVE, horry, eddie jones, elden campbell, young kobe, shaq, and ron harper....
